The main difference between blogs vs wiki are that blogs are personal writings of a person while a wiki is the collaboration of many people. A blog is more suited for putting out personal opinions or writing that would then be peer reviewed by the readers of the blog in the comments section. This allows the blogger to learn what their readers think of the blog post. In a wiki many people are allowed to edit and add on to wiki which means it is a mass of information that is constantly being updated. Blogs are personal writings, but they can be used for collaboration in that the blogger can build a connection with their readers through the comments section that will lead to growth of the bloggers writings by taking other's criticisms and opinions and incorporating them into future blog posts.
